After the building permit is approved, we start with the grubbing and trenching work to prepare for the pour of a foundation.
We get the "sticks up" when the foundation has cured for about a week, start the stucco process, and get the rough-ins done (systems in walls).
A few pics of the lath and stucco process. It is a 4 step process, and it takes a real artist to get the texture right.
This is some of the stuff that is happening on the inside of the structure immediately after the walls and roof are up.
Lot's of things happen during the finish phase of the project. This is the stuff that you see, live with, and maintain as the occupant.
Here are some pics of our latest ADU build in the Aviara area of Carlsbad, CA. It is 657 sq. ft., and even the HOA architect/approver was impressed!
